Do you count spam toward my total calls?
No, spam and sales calls don’t count toward your total. We also don’t bill for calls under 15 seconds (like when someone just says “oops, wrong number”) or for calls where the caller never speaks (like a pocket dial). Our goal is for you to only ever pay for real conversations—and if junk calls ever push you into overage, just let us know and we’ll reimburse you.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes, you can forward calls from your cellphone, landline, or VoIP number to your Upfirst virtual receptionist. See our call forwarding directions.
What does the free trial include?
Everything — for 14 days. During your trial you’ll get full access to every feature. We’ll also give you a phone number so you can forward calls and see how it works with real people on the other end. We want you to be confident it’s the right fit before you pay a cent. You don’t even have to provide a credit card to sign up.
Do I have to sign a contract?

Make a few test calls to ensure everything’s working smoothly (you will receive a dedicated number for your receptionist when you sign up). When you’re happy with the setup and how your receptionist responds to different inquiries, you go live by simply forwarding your existing calls to your receptionist’s phone number, and Upfirst will start answering calls and sending you summaries by text or email.
